Web Graphics Designer
(Ipoh / Puchong / Damansara)
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the layout, visual appearance and usability of the websites, micro-sites, banners, icons, branding or social media applications
- Resourceful, creative and self-motivated with passion for keeping up with the latest design and cutting edge technology innovations, especially in web-related initiatives.
- Be able to work independently, motivated, working with minimum supervision and good team player as well.
- An eye for detail and takes pride in own work
- To conceptualize and develop requirements into creative, dynamic and rich content event websites
- Undertake any other ad-hoc design work assigned by company;
- Able to work under tight deadlines and to ensure tasks are delivered within the scheduled timeline
- Translate marketing strategy into effective design with some art direction
- Optimistic about new challenges and willing to learn new things (quick learner).
Requirements:
- Preferably at least 2 years working experience specialising in Arts / Creative / Graphics Design or equivalent. Job role in Web Designer or Graphics Art Designer.
- Established portfolio is required to interview.
- Solid experience and knowledge with Photoshop, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, and Flash;
- Solid experience with web technologies such as HTML, XHTML, CSS, W3C, CSS design, AJAX, etc;
- Strong UI design and graphics design background
- Knowledge of Javascript, CSS, and browser compatibility issues

- Developing affiliate marketing activities; execute an online social media strategy.
- Running and evaluating web marketing for online campaign;
- Carrying out market research and customer surveys to assess demand, brand positioning and awareness;
- Create/edit contents and materials required for the website and e-newsletters, etc.
- New media savvy, accountable to update, maintain and moderate websites, social network sites i.e. Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, blogs and forums
- To provide regular statistical and analytic reports on social media blogs and chatter about our products, services and people talking/following us in external communities.
- Have good grammar, attention to detail and creative in writing
- To develop new business, prepare proposals and quotations

- Performing office tasks when assigned by the management.

Requirements:
- Candidate must possess at least a Higher Secondary / STPM / A-Level / Pre-U, Professional Certificate, Diploma or Advanced Diploma in Business Studies / Administration / Management, Marketing or equivalent.
- Preferably 1-2 years experience specialising in Marketing / Business Development / Online marketing and communications or equivalent. Job role in Business Development or Marketing Executive.
- Excellent communication, and organisational skills. An eager learner and enthusiastic initiative taker; pleasant personality
- In-depth experience of Internet searching to gather relevant data and information
- An ability to communicate effectively at all levels with a high standard of English (both grammar & spelling) combined with editing skills as the candidate will be communicating with overseas market
- Candidate can speak and write in Chinese will be of advantage.
- You should have a high level of commitment, integrity and have an excellent can-do working attitude.
- Must have sound knowledge about the internet and preferable knowledgeable of current marketing tools used on the internet.
